Please e-mail the project asking to join, and attach a .pdf version of the actual results certificate given to you by the DNA company.
If you tested with: SMGF
Please e-mail the project asking to join, and include a web-link to the SMGF database page that shows your results.
What happens next?
After I receive your e-mail I will look at your haplotype results.
• If your haplotype does indeed appear to be a J2 haplotype, then I'll send you an e-mail asking you how much information you want on the project website (eg. whether you want your haplotype displayed in public, or only in the members area, or not displayed at all).
•However, sometimes DNA companies don't get their haplotype prediction correct (FTDNA is the most accurate), so there is a chance that I might not agree with the prediction that your DNA company gave you. If this happens I'll usually let you know which haplogroup your haplotype most likely is, and will advise SNP testing to be sure.
